Holladay homes are some of our favorite to design for: mature trees, generous lots, and kitchens that often deserve more than a standard tract layout. From mid-century ranches near Mt. Olympus to new-builds in Cottonwood, Primo Cabinets installs solid-wood cabinetry that fits the way Holladay families actually live.
We've worked across most of Holladay's distinct pockets:
Mid-century homes with original tile and small kitchens that benefit from full-height upper cabinets and pull-out pantries to maximize the existing footprint.
Larger lots, larger kitchens, often with island additions. Full-overlay NorthPoint Catalina in Sage or Slate is a popular Cottonwood look right now.
Classic estate homes. Custom millwork and built-ins matching existing trim profiles — we'll match your stain and panel detail.
Historic charm with practical updates. Cabinet refacing keeps the home's character while modernizing function (soft-close, dovetail, full-extension).
Family-scale ranches. Mudroom benches, laundry-room cabinetry, and pantry conversions that handle daily traffic without showing wear.
Newer builds with modern open floor plans. Slab-front PCS Recessed Panel and quartz waterfall islands — clean lines, low maintenance.
Holladay homes often have details worth keeping — original hardwood floors, leaded glass, custom built-ins, mature landscaping that matters. Our install crew has done enough Holladay projects to know how to protect those details: floor runners on every walkway, dust barriers on day one, careful door removal so existing trim doesn't chip.
For older Holladay homes with un-square walls or non-standard cabinet sizes (a common surprise in pre-1980s kitchens), we shim and scribe rather than forcing standard cabinets where they don't fit. The result looks like it was always there.
